Intention Peace offers information and guidance on the power of setting intentions to experience peace and well-being. We celebrate this powerful opportunity by contributing to the Intention Peace board with an acknowledgement of our intentions.
Intention Peace activities can be found at festivals and other community events throughout Rhode Island. Adults and children are given the opportunity to practice setting heartfelt intentions for peace and other important situations in their lives.
Intention Peace now produces a festival that informs and inspires people to live a life of wellness and peace. It's called INTENTION FEST
Take a moment to ground yourself, relax and imagine what peace looks like and especially feels like. Imagine as much detail as possible as if you are really experiencing it. Breathe deeply, as if to take every drop of your peaceful experience into every cell of your body. Enjoy a few deep breaths as you imagine peace. (Practice obtaining this feeling of peace everyday!)
Allow yourself to explore what you want in life. What does enjoying life mean to you? What issues do you want to overcome? As you come up with ideas, write them down so you can refer to them each day... and set intentions to enhance your life. You can practice setting intentions at the Intention Peace booth! (Click here for suggestions on setting intentions)
There is indisputable research that says, what you repeatedly think about will manifest in your life. So be mindful about your thoughts and make an effort to set positive intentions daily and before significant events.
If you want your life to flow more easily and to your liking, make it a practice to engage your mind in thoughts that support your intentions.
Creating an intention allows you to have control over thoughts instead of your thoughts wildly having control over you.
We become what we repeatedly think about that charges our emotions.
Our thoughts, intentions and beliefs do affect our lives. They affect the choices we make and the energy we give off. They affect what we attract into our lives and our perceptions and experience of life itself.
Set intentions to improve your experiences with relationships, work, finances, health and self.
The first step in achieving any goal or intention is believing that it is possible.
Notice any fears, blocks or negative beliefs that keep coming up. Don’t let anything restrict your dreams.
Practice Limitless Thinking!
and be patient :)
The power of intention is by no means a magic trick to make you win the lottery or to save you from a tragic loss. This is not a quick fix to solve life's problems.
Intention is an awareness of your thought patterns and belief systems.
Summer Intention – I kayak, go to outdoor music festivals and have fun with friends.
Relationship Intention – Our relationship has integrity, passion, generosity and fun. We are safe to communicate our fears and joys.
Lunch Appointment Intention – We hear and respect each other’s point of view and find common ground to enjoy our conversation.
Work Intention – My peers respect me and my supervisors recognize my talents. I am inspired to do my best and am proud of my work.
Student Intention - I am doing well in my classes and enjoy school.
Peace Intention – My heart and mind are at peace. My community builds on a peaceful gratitude for others.
1. Close your eyes and quiet your mind. Observe your breath and let your mind become still.
2. Clearly envision in your mind your intention.
3. Add as much detail as possible to your vision; sounds, smells, feelings, movements etc. and FEEL what it's like to have what you want.
4. Use clear focused statements to narrate your vision, stating clearly in your mind what your intention is. Keep the statement positive. Avoid negative statements.
5. Hold this intention in your mind strongly for 15-30 seconds allowing your entire being to become immersed in your intention.
6. Smile, open your eyes and continue with your day.
7. Trust in the power of intention and let go of controlling how and when things happen.
8. Repeat again each day. The more you use it, the better it works.
We are a living organism. My hope is that we become a more evolved form of the human species who when freed from the chains of their own limits, heal one another; inform one another; support one another; trust one another; cooperate with one another; honor one another; shine for one another so that others can shine as well. The new consciousness that is emerging during this particular time in history is not based on one individual, but on a collective group of people unified as one mind and one heart, pushing the limits of possibility. Stunning new scientific discoveries about the biochemical effects of the brain’s functioning show that all the cells of your body are affected by your thoughts. The emerging sciences of quantum biophysics, epigenetics, and fractal geometry have illuminated the mechanics of the mind-body-spirit connection. This new science reveals that consciousness is responsible for our life experiences, including our biological functioning. Website.
The Japanese author, researcher and entrepreneur discovered that human consciousness has an effect on the molecular structure of water. Mr. Emoto’s water crystal experiments consisted of exposing water in glasses to different intentions – prayers, thoughts, music, etc. and then freezing and examining the aesthetic properties of the resulting crystals with microscopic photography.
